The Happy Medium Library is a collection of 100+ books on political theory, journalism, history, anthropology, law, and literature located at the Binghamton University Center for Civic Engagement (UU-137).
The library operates on the honor system. All books must be returned to the Center for Civic Engagement by the last day of final exams each semester. Special permission for extensions may be requested via email at happymedium@binghamtonsa.org. We kindly ask that students have no more than two books checked out from the library at once. Books in the section labeled “Reference” may not be checked out.
Donations to the Happy Medium Library are welcome! Due to space constraints, we are unable to display all of the books in our collection. Please send book donations to the following address or drop them off at the Center for Civic Engagement:
